Great weekend at the Midland Gamefair at Weston Park 14/15 Sept courtesy of the Midlands ,Wales & Welsh Marches branch of the British Deer Society
Also at Lulworth 21/22 Sept for our Handler and Tracking tests with all participants passing their handler test
Another good day at our Hampshire training venue - Nov 2019, with lots of different types of dogs and handlers, making it a really enjoyable day.

The weekend of 22nd September. we Added our first tracking team to Northern Ireland in the form of Mike Field and his Hanoverian Hound named Don Passing their UKDTR Handler and 20 hr tracking test
Bjorn Richards also passed his 3/4 hr tracking test , now on his way to training for his 20hr test
Mike will cover all of Northern Ireland and contact numbers can be found on the call out page along with numbers and areas for our other tracking teams

A Worthy Cause:
Martin Frampton from UK Deer Tracking receives a Mauser M12 Tracking Rifle from Robert Sajitz, MD of Blaser Sporting Ltd.
This highly specialist tool was designed by Mauser for the specific purpose of follow-up tracking and humane dispatch.
UKDTR are a voluntary organisation with nationwide coverage offering a much needed service to British Deer-stalkers.

Track Training Days:
These days are for people who have a dog. We will pre-lay trails to practice on. There will be help and advice on practical tracking, gear, laying tracks, handlers tips etc.
The spaces for these events will be limited on a ‘first come first served’ basis, and booking to be through our secretary - Richard Evans 07989 538 350 or email him on: richard.evans300@outlook.com

Shot Site Seminars....
We will have shot site seminars, including Kelso and Highclere - please check the Diary Page or the Facebook Page for dates and more information.
We will also be working closely with Scottish Natural Heritage in Kelso in March this year, this will be promoting best practice and follow up with dogs.

2018 saw another two tracking teams proudly receiving their new Blaser Rifles we thank Robert and the rest of the Blaser team for their continued support in what we do.
